Welcome back to another hair accessory tutorial. In this video we are making the cutest knitted scrunchie inspired by an Anthropologies one I saw in store!
This tutorial is pretty straightforward, there are a few techniques that might be slightly tricky, please comment below any questions if you are struggling!
Materials:
- Scrap yarn - I used this sort of yarn: www.hobbycraft.co.uk/womens-institute-sage-green-premium-acrylic-yarn-100g/5930421033.html
- 3.7mm knitting needles
- Elastic - 1cm wide
- Darning needle
- Scissors

This is super cute, but whats the point of doing two blocks of pink when only one is visible?
Good point! Definitely don’t have to do that, I just didn’t want to risk red potentially showing through from the inside when stretched on the head.
Do you think it would work if I used a sentro with 48 crochet and instead of round I’d made a panel ?

Hey! this looks amazing, you did such a good job!! Just a question: do you not have to alter it to fit the smallest parts of your body, or would the elastic just mould to your proportions? Also, you cut it to the length of what you want the dress length to be and the width of the result you got? Thanks!
